Norcross Corporation is a family owned company that has been in the process viscosity industry for over 80 years. We design and manufacture the most sensitive and repeatable in-line and in-tank measuring elements available. The durable Norcross viscometer provides an accurate, easy to maintain device for measuring a wide range of materials. Utilizing the “piston time-of-fall” principle, our equipment is successfully used to monitor and/ or control viscosity in many diverse applications including, printing inks on flexo presses, varnish coating on soft drink cans and fuel oil in power plants.

Norcross provides both the PLC Based Visc Series multi-loop and MP2000 single-loop digital controllers for viscosity. Each type offers options such as 4-20ma output, pH control and temperature monitoring. They are easily programmed to indicate viscosity in a variety of different units, such as Time of Fall, Shell cup, Zahn cup and centipoise.
