North Kansas City - NKC Girls Rugby Team

A girl's high school rugby team is currently forming for the North Kansas City School District. No experience needed! Come out and play rugby!

Rugby is a new and upcoming sport that will be featured in the 2016 Olympics and a new high school girl's team is starting for the North Kansas City (NKC) school district. The NKC girl's high school rugby team will be playing Olympic or 7s rugby against other teams in the KC area and throughout Missouri. For its first year, the team will be a combination of players from all 4 schools (North Kansas City, Oak Park, Staley, and Winnetonka) but hopefully starting in the 2015-2016 season teams will be school based.

The HS girl's rugby season is fall with practices and clinics starting in August, tournaments in September and October, and the Missouri HS State Championships being held in November.

No experience is needed to join the team! Practices will be at Hodge Park (20 NE Reinking Road, Kansas City, MO, 64157). See timeline for practice information.
