The Academy delivers, 21st century learning experience to help students develop the skills needed to design, build, and manage networks, along with career skills such as problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking.
The I.T. Academy uses Cisco Net Academy curriculum. This is a two-year program.
Upon completion of the course, students should be ready for entry-level positions in the I.T. field. Most students are encouraged to continue their post-secondary education at a community, four-year or technical college.
Students may receive college credit for the course through Metropolitan Community College - Business & Technology College (MCC-BTC) and their "credit by exam" | "Dual Credit" thru UCM | "Free Articulated Credit" thru the State of Missouri.
