Oakbourne Mansion is a historic residence built by the Hulme Family in the late 19th Century. It later changed hands and under the ownership of the Mr. and Mrs. James C. Smith of Philadelphia, Oakbourne Mansion was renovated to its current grandeur. Upon the Smith’s death, Oakbourne Mansion was bequeathed to the Philadelphia Protestant Episcopal City Mission where it was put into service as a convalescent home for women for the next 65 years. Today Oakbourne Mansion is available for rental for weddings and other social and corporate events.
Oakbourne Mansion is set off from Concord Road in Westtown Township, PA and sits on more than 93 acres in bucolic Oakbourne Park. Step through the front door and you will feel transported back somewhere in time with its rich wood and four fireplaces. There are a variety of packages for consideration based on the size of your party and the event can be held inside Oakbourne Mansion, on the grounds or both. Oakbourne Mansion is air-conditioned, has free parking, is handicap accessible and there are tables and chairs for rent. Oakbourne Mansion is a stunning setting in all four seasons.
