Odum Village is located on Southern Campus, close to the business school, hospitals, student health center, and the Dean Dome. Approximately 450 students reside within the community, creating a mix of upper-class students, graduate students, international students, and transfer students. Odum Village was originally built in the 1960's as UNC's student family housing, but with the recent construction of Baity Hill Apartments, Odum Village apartments are now offered to full-time undergraduate and graduate students.
