Oktibbeha County Co-op was incorporated in 1937 by Farm Bureau and County agents.
When the Co-op was first formed, its primary mission was to supply feed, fertilizer, and seed to the county’s farmers and ranchers. Due to the decline of farmers and ranchers in the area and the county’s shift in agriculture, the Oktibbeha County Co-op expanded and then relocated. In January 2000, Oktibbeha County Co-op moved to its current location on Pollard Road off of Industrial Park Road. This location ensured more room for growth and was still visible from the highway.
Although the Oktibbeha County Co-op’s main function is to serve the farmers and pet owners in the area, it is now trying to serve the greater community as a whole. The Co-op can now serve anyone with an interest in farming, hunting, gardening, landscaping, outdoors, etc.
