Provide the tools to strengthen & build employability, job readiness training and assist with job placement for Tribal members.
Identifying various employable initiatives that will increase the hiring of Oneida Tribal Members such as:
* Provide continued training to become the Most Outstanding Appliant when interviewed
*Collaborate with Oneida Higher Education
*Work with recent graduates that are interested in working in their area of study
*Identify knowledge, skills, and abilities
*Provide a needs assessment to determine strengths/weaknesses
The departments primary responsibilities includes providing the tools to strengthen and build employability as well as providing job readiness training and employment assistance to focus on tribal members who are looking for work.
