Oregon Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS), a Department of Human Services (DHS) program, supports person-centered and community inclusive choices for individuals with disabilites and their families.http://www.oregon.gov/dhs/DD/Pages/index.aspx

To work as a clearinghouse for information, resources and programs that impact and/or would be of interest to the developmental disabilities community in Oregon. Trends, policies, programs, events, and opportunities that specifically touch the DD community are posted here. Organizations and staff, clients and their families, providers, stakeholders including elected officials, caregivers, and anyone interested can find useful information on this page and follow it.

The Office of Developmental Disability Services (ODDS) provides supports and services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Individuals that are eligible and their families can access generic and specialized services to provide the support, based on the individual needs of the person, to be able to live with as much independence as possible. Services and supports may range from information and referral, to case management or hourly services, to maximum supports that provide 24-hour care.

Developmental disabilities include intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, autism, traumatic brain injuries, certain neurological impairments and other impairments of the brain that occur during childhood. Some people with developmental disabilities also have significant medical or mental health needs.

The purpose of this page is to provide a forum for promoting and sharing current information, resources and programs that impact and/or would be of interest to the developmental disabilities community in Oregon. Please do not post complaints regarding services you or a person you are associated with is receiving. DHS has a process for complaints and staff available to assist you with thes process.
