www.outrightvt.org is Vermont's only queer youth organization.
Our office is open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and our queer youth space is open 12-8pm, Tuesday-Friday and 12-5pm on Saturdays in Burlington, VT.
Outright Vermont is a queer youth advocacy, education, and youth space based out of Burlington, VT. We work lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ or queer) youth (ages 13-22).
PROGRAMS & EVENTS:
Our programs include peer support groups, a queer youth summer camp (www.campoutright.com), and anti-harassment education work for students and educators in VT schools. Our largest events of the year include the Queer & Allied Youth Summit each May - a networking conference for Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA) or Queer/Straight Alliance(QSA) students and their advisors from all over the state; the annual Queer Youth Prom (as part of the summit); Vermont Drag Idol, the Fire Truck Pull, Out for the Oscars, and the Outright Awards (just to name a few).
