The only public beach on Lake Wallenpaupack!

Palmyra Township Public Beach (PTPB) is the only public beach on Lake Wallenpaupack open 11AM to 7PM, weather permitting, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The beach is open weekends from Memorial Day through June 16th, 2014. The beach is open everyday of the week beginning June 16th. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for children (under 12), and seniors and infants are complimentary. We offer lifeguards on duty, snack bar, volleyball, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and bathroom/changing facilities. Located approximately 1/2 mile from the intersection of Routes 507 and 6 heading west, between the Lake Wallenpaupack visitor's center and Wilsonville Campground.

We also offer Red Cross swimming lessons each weekday between June 16th and August 8th for the 2014 season! Cost is $47.00 per each two week session. Sign up sheets available at the beach!
