A Little About Us:

Proudly serving our hometown Garner, NC and the surrounding area, we are a local family owned and operated business. We are a small business with a large passion for animals!

For every person in our ParMar family there is at least one dog or cat. Most of these amazing additions to our family came from the Wake County SPCA (including the original Par-Mar herself). Giving back to the SPCA is our way of saying "Thank You!". We hope our donations help them continue to save animals and provide other families and pets the same joy and love they have provided to us.

Our Name:

The name ParMar comes from our dog Marley. We adopted her from the SPCA when she was a little over 3 months old. In her 3 months of living she had almost died twice from parvo and she was the only one out of 13 puppies to survive the disease. While recovering from the first bout of parvo she somehow managed to catch it again. By all accounts the dog really shouldn’t have been alive after the first round, and then to survive it a second time is truly insane/miraculous and shows how tough and stubborn this dog is.
When we brought her home the nickname "Par-Mar" came to us and just fit so perfectly! The "Par" being short for parvo and "Mar" being short for Marley.
