The Passaic County S.P.C.A. is a (501-C3) non-profit volunteer Law Enforcement organization dedicated to the Prevention of Cruelty to all animals. Our organization is made up of women and men who devote their time and knowledge to help and care for any animal found in a cruel or abusive situation. Although some circumstances may force us to bring charges against individuals, one of our primary goals is education. The Passaic County S.P.C.A. firmly believes that through proper education to the public on Animal abuse, less animals will suffer a cruel and inhumane existence.
Our Agents and Officers attend the Humane Law Enforcement Officer training course at the NJ Police Training Commission. We purchase uniforms and equipment at our own expense. Although we work closely with local veterinarians and law enforcement, many circumstances will put the cost of care and treatment for the animals solely on our shoulders.
As a non-profit (501- C3) organization the Passaic County S.P.C.A. receives no State or Local funding and relies on the support and financial assistance from our animal friends and lovers. Your continuous support will aid us in our on-going fight against ANIMAL CRUELTY!
The Passaic County S.P.C.A. is on call 24-7. If you happen to encounter a cruelty situation or are aware of one you may contact us at (973) 773-0459 and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
