The PAWS of Hawaii Facebook Page is used to find foster and adoptive homes for our rescues. READ THE ABOUT SECTION BEFORE INQUIRING!!
What is PAWS of Hawaii?
We are a small community of people working together to rescue and care for neglected, abused, and abandoned animals. We are not a shelter, all of our rescues are in foster homes or boarding. We are able to continue saving animals because of help from the community. We have a core team of passionate volunteers who work tirelessly to take in and find these animals amazing homes. All of our animals are vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered/spayed prior to adoption. If you would like to become apart of the PAWS of Hawaii Ohana, there are many things you can do:
~ADOPT~
In the photo section there are ADOPTABLE albums with our animals that are looking for homes. Feel free to submit an Application if you find an animal you are interested in meeting. Please send a PM (Private Message) to let us know you've completed the app. Depending on how many rescues / inquiries we have in it could take a couple days for a response.
Here is the link to the Adoption Application:

(The more details, the easier it makes for us to review your application and get to know you beforehand)
Adoption Fees :
Puppies $250
Dogs (1.5 and up) $100
Seniors Dogs - Donation based
Kittens $50
Cats $30
Adoption fees may vary dependent on the animals health and needs.
Includes Vaccination(s), deworm, micro-chip, and vet check. If the animal is old enough, they may also have had Monthly Flea/Tick/Heartworm medications, Heartworm tests and/or other care.
~FOSTER~
Join the Foster Team. Our fosters are the front line of defense for these animals. Every foster does what they can and we try to provide as much support and advice to them to help with training and care. When taking an animal home we will let you know what type of care they have had done and what else they will need. Dogs all come with leash, collar, and a kennel if necessary. Cats all come with a Kennel and litter box. If foster families need assistance with food / litter please ask and we will do what we can to get you what you need for them. ALL MEDICAL is done through our veterinarians. If the animal is having a problem, contact the emergency number and we will get them an appt. Some animals in foster care are not yet ready for adoption because they are awaiting vaccines, neuter, or are not yet healthy enough for adoption.
