The object of this club shall be to create an organized center of thought & good fellowship & participate in community improvment.
A few dedicated women met at the home of Mrs. Sara Jacquette to organize The Lower Penn's Neck Woman's Club to create an organization. The goal is to work with other local groups to help uplift the standards of mankind on a cultural and moral level in the community, state and nation. In 1949 the club voted to change the name to The Woman's Club of Pennsville.
In the 40's teh club went all out in its war efforts forming and attending Red Cross First Aid, Civil Defense classes, entertaining and making gifts for soldiers and sponsoring War Bond Drives. We continue to support our military personnel.
