I really treasure South Texas history, there are many interesting stories that have taken place in this regional territory that very few people know about. Some negative, some positive, and some poetic. Also, I wanted to use this blog as a way to explore the human experience, and use South Texas as a thread to link though the different fabrics of society. One week you may read about Nodrog's religious based organization in Weslaco and the next, you might read an appreciation of Esteban Jordan's music. There's so many fascinating subjects out there in the world, why just limit them to one theme?
