Promoting fresh produce, locally grown in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. We encourage vendor farmers and gardeners who meet or exceed organic standards. Those who are not organic growers must clearly disclose their growing methods. The market also sells other preserved food products, baked goods, honey and bee products, farm fresh eggs and, when vendors are available, grass-fed meats, Gulf-harvested shrimp and seafood, prepared foods and beverages as well as a limited number of locally made artisan handicrafts and Fair Trade products. Related local community service, cultural and educational organizations may also display information with pre-approval by the Market Management Team.
