Philip Michael Pennington School - (703) 369-6644

Pennington School, a PWCS School of Excellence and a twice designated Virginia School To Watch.

Pennington School, the first traditional school in Prince William County, opened in September 2000.
The school was named for Philip Michael Pennington, a Prince William County police officer who died in the line of duty in 1990.
Since it's founding in 2000, Pennington has received numerous recognitions and awards, including PWCS School of Excellence, Virginia Schools to Watch, and is a fully accredited PWCS school!
Here at Pennington, we have a very dedicated and committed community of staff, students, and parents. Community service and outreach are essential elements of our culture, and this can be observed daily both inside and outside of the school hours.
We are grateful to have Mrs. Joyce Stockton, our founder and Principal at the head of our family. Mrs. Stockton has been awarded the 2014-2015 Prince William County Schools Principal of the Year award, and she is more than deserving of such a designation. Mrs. Stockton has been and continues to be dedicated to the mission of Pennington, "One Team, One Dream...Empowering Students to Achieve."
