PYI is an eight week summer program in the Phoenixville Area School District that assists youth in gaining the skills to be successful and self-sufficient.
PYI is a eight week summer employment program designed to help low-income, at risk youth ages 14 to 19 residing in the Phoenixville Area School District to gain job skills, leadership skills, and explore career awareness. PYI provides work experience, leadership curriculum and job readiness workshops. Students of the Phoenixville Youth Initiative are employed by our partnered host sites and work twenty hours between Monday and Thursday. On Fridays, they attend PYI Service Days.
