George and Lorinda have been in the photo industry for over 35 years. George began his career in the 1970s as a professional photographer. In 1976, George opened a photo store in Eastchester, NY with an in-house custom black & white and color photo lab. Eastechester Photo Service, as it was originally called, printed custom photos for much of Westchester and Connecticut's retail photo labs.

In 2003, Photo Works of Pleasantville was born, run by George's wife, Lorinda. Lorinda has shared in George's passion for photography since his first store opened back in '76. George later joined Lorinda in Pleasantville in 2006. Lorinda has become very involved in the digital photography revolution. She is an advocate for preserving and organizing photographs which led her to the APPO in 2010.

Photo Works has come a long way since its early days. Very few labs are still developing film using harsh chemicals and dark rooms - and even fewer consumers are opting to just print pictures. Photo Works has transformed from a small digital lab to a local destination for all photo needs.
