About Eddy:
Pileddys founder, Eddy Rioseco, received a BFA in Drama at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University where he was also trained extensively in Ballet and Jazz. Having an innate sense of how the body works, he chose to pursue a career in The Pilates Method. In 2006 he received his full Apparatus Pilates Certification and began teaching at numerous and eclectic pilates and fitness studios in the Los Angeles area. Some fitness centers include Pilates Studio City, Annex, LA Fitness, Synergy, Functional Fitness, RPM Fitness, Mulholland Tennis Club and Kid's Camp.
Throughout his 7 years teaching, Eddy has worked with and still trains a broad variety of clientele. Whether it's a 14 year old gearing up for tennis or football season, Hollywood actors maintaining their physique, middle-aged professionals staying fit and limber or elderly clients rehabilitating and mastering balance, Rioseco has improved the confidence and well being of people all ages. He specializes in lower back injuries and atrophied musculature as a result of inactive and sedentary lifestyles. Eddy has helped clients who have herniated discs, scoliosis and spondylosis strengthen their core and improve flexibility.
The majority of his sessions offer a unique and dynamic approach to identifying any challenges or imbalances in the body and providing the tools needed to correct them. Workouts are lighthearted but intense and focus on greater awareness of your alignment once clients step off the apparatus and into the world.
In 2011 he was honored as Best Pilates Teacher by LA Weekly's "Best of L.A." awards. Since then he has continued to expand his education and client base.
