Founded in 1915, the Pinellas Park Police Department serves a population of approximately 48,000 residents within 16 square miles.

The Pinellas Park Police Department consists of nearly 150 police officers and support staff members. In addition, paid agency staff members are supported by approximately 65 police volunteers and explorers.
