We are located in the southern region of San Luis Obispo County. We have been voted the "happiest place to live".
A couple of decades ago, we were coming back to LA from San Francisco via the 101, we hit the "Shell Beach area" and I sat up and said "I want to retire right there" pointing at Shell Beach Village.
Well, we didnt retire but opportunity brought us here and other family memebers followed and this truly is California's best kept Secret. My 5 year old son has gone thru the school system here and will be graduating this June 2011, has had a great experience and built alot of strong friendships thru the years.
