PolishYoungstown was created to inspire and educate Poles and non-poles alike on all things Polish. Its mission is to develop, promote and support Polish events throughout the Mahoning Valley area. Its goal is for its member organizations to thrive

PolishYoungstown is an umbrella organization created to educate Mahoning Valley area residents on all things Polish.

Its mission is to develop, support and promote unique, entertaining gatherings throughout the NE Ohio area that teach participants about the rich culture of the Polish nation and its influence on the history of the region with accuracy and liveliness.

Its goal is for the public to gain a better understanding of Poland’s culture, and, for those of Polish extraction, to gain increased pride in this heritage inspired by their raised awareness of the contributions Poles and Polish-Americans have made to society.

We accomplish this independently and by forging alliances with community institutions that have complementary goals. We then work with them to create public experiences around seasonal traditions or current events.

Through these efforts, our hope is that, despite a limited influx of new residents to the region, member organizations will flourish and continue to grow.
