The owner, Chelsy (Ché for short) discovered her spiritual path at a young age in the beautiful natural landscape of New England. A passion for learning, adventure, and personal growth lead her to travel all over the world (from Europe to India to South America...and extensively here in the United States- which is rich and diverse in culture) to see and study art, the many paths to Spirit, and to develop skills and for spiritual and energetic healing. Among many other subjects, Chelsy was immersed shamanism, earth magic, prayer practice, and plant wisdom, including practical and sustainable methods of living such as Permaculture and herbalism. Additionally, Ché was trained in make-up, special effects, and costume history and served in the United States Coast Guard- experiences which deeply influenced her aesthetic and sense of duty. An intuitive and and empath, Chelsy found the the most fulfilling path in life is one of service and that through whole beauty and laughter we become closer to our divine selves. "Providence" means "Divine will made manifest" and, having returned to Meredith to put down roots, Ché hopes that it can be a place for many in the community to visit and amplify the beauty in their homes and spiritual lives.

Providence is open Wed-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm, and is open Tuesday by appointment; Ché is an executive advisor and spiritual guide and will meet you for private consults in the lovely atmosphere of the shop on this day. Call ahead for an appointment!
