Located in Sperryville, VA, Rappahannock Central is within easy driving distance of Washington DC and Charlottesville and home to: River District Arts (RDA) , Confluent Gallery, Middle Street Gallery and El Quijote, a Spanisch tapas restaurant (open soon).

River District Arts is a collective of more than a dozen artists working in a wide variety of media and styles including oil, watercolor, photography, ceramic and collage. They are the heart and soul of River District Arts.

During your visit, you will experience artists at work in work in spacious, inviting and light filled studios that are open to the public every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. You will have an opportunity to talk with them about their latest creations and browse our two exhibiting galleries. The River Gallery and The Confluent Gallery feature regularly changing shows by local and regional artists. An adjacent Artisan Market features fine craft from Virginia artisans.

Located in Sperryville's River District, Rappahannock Central is housed in a beautifully restored post and beam apple packing facility from the 1930s era, with touches of sophisticated modern interior architecture combined with exposed beams, rustic wood floors and sliding stable doors.
