• In the 2012-13 school year we served nine schools and over 400 students in Charleston.
• We are on track to serve more than 8,000 students nationwide by 2015.
NATIONAL SERVICE
Reading Partners is a proud partner with the Corporation for National and Community Service. Our Reading Centers are powered by dedicated AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers.
RECORD OF SUCCESS IN CHARLESTON
Reading Partners is focused on data and results. We are dedicated to ensuring that every investment made in the success of our students leads to a measurable increase in reading skills. During the 2012-13 school year:
• 88% of students accelerated their progress in reading.
• 71% of students narrowed their reading achievement gap.
• 92% of principals noted school-wide progress in reading.
