Hard Cider
Rebellion Ciderworks is located in a renovated barn in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Rebellion makes artisanal hard cider on site using the traditional rack and cloth method in our 1921 cider press. We use a mixture of heirloom European and American cider apples, common dessert apples, and wild cider apples which bring a unique flavor of Slippery Rock to our cider. We use 100% juice in our products which creates a pure and powerful taste.
We are committed to quality at Rebellion and passionate about maintaining the tradition of cider making. Our personal orchard of European, American, and local cider apples is growing and expanding and will be ready to produce in the near future. Our goal is to see the apple from start to finish: to grow and nurture the apple, wash, grind, press the apple, and use the pomace to nourish.
Our tasting room is closed for the winter, we will re-open March 14th 12:00-6:00. Look for Rebellion on tap at local restuarants!
We are a family owned and operated business. We hope you enjoy our cider as much as we enjoy making it!
Wassail!
