We are a thrift shop that sells clothing, books, cards, jewelry, and household items. You can find antiques and unique items on our Silent Auction.

Profits from the Re-Uzit Shop are sent to the Mennonite Central Committee. MCC provides food, health, school, and relief supplies for people in need locally and throughout the world.

The Re-Uzit Shop of New Holland mainly relies on the generous helping hand of volunteers. Volunteers are much needed on a regular daily basis to keep this store and its mission afloat. Another key aspect to our success is the general populations generous donations of any household goods. Our store thrives because of the kind people of the community and in return the Re-Uzit Shop of New Holland donates the profits to Mennonite Central Committee and local charities in order to help those in need around the world.

Volunteering:
You can apply to volunteer here in our store during our regular operating hours or call us at 717-354-8355. Volunteering is a great way to serve your community as well as the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, by helping and giving to others. There are many other beneficial factors to volunteering at the shop. The Re-Uzit shop is a great place for groups to come and put in time as a community project or meet other community service requirements. Donations:
Donations can be made at the rear of our store located on the corner of School Lane and Shirk Road. There is an accessible loading dock where we receive donated goods. We appreciate offers of donations, but kindly ask that you do not bring mattresses, box springs, cribs, or televisions. All donations will be received during store operating hours and we also kindly ask that donations do not be made before or after store hours so that we will be able to accept donations when they come in.

Pick-Ups:
If you have large furniture that you would like to donate, but are unable to move it, we will come pick it up free of charge. We will have to make an appointment at your request either by calling the store to arrange or coming in and seeing us at the registers. Please note that we will only be able to pick-up during a scheduled arranged time.
