Vocational Assessment
provides assistance to an individual with a disability or other barrier to employment to identify their strengths, abilities, needs and preferences. Services include:
Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation
Transferrable Skills Analysis
Comprehensive Vocational Profile
Limited Evaluation
Work Evaluation

Work Adjustment
assists participants seeking employment to develop or reestablish work habits and
behaviors, quality and quantity of work,
determine functional capacities, develop proper work habits, interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, and
increased stamina. Two types of
work adjustment:
Facility Based at Goodwill
Community Based with Goodwill’s partners.
Job Readiness
provides the participant with the skills necessary to prepare a cover letter and resume, complete applications, conduct an effective job search, and develop
interview skills.

Job Coaching
provides the participant with training in an actual job with a one-to-one Job Coach.

Personal & Social Adjustment
provides the participant with intensive counseling to remediate interpersonal difficulties and behaviors which hinder success on the job.

Employment Skills Training
provides training in a number of
occupational fields including clerical, retail, janitorial, and fork lift.

Job Placement Assistance
enables the job seeker to secure
employment in the competitive labor market.

Goodwill Mission Services

ADVANCE Acquired Brain Injury
provides both life skills and job training to individuals who have a brain injury.
BUENA VIDA
provides an array of educational,
employment and training services to the Latino population in the Lyons and
Statesboro area.
Beyond Jobs Initiative
provides training classes and work
experience assist women with children in obtaining employment.
GoodGuides Youth Mentoring
matches at-risk youth ages 14-17 with
caring and accessible role models.
Job Club
supplies job seekers with the training and necessary tools to start on a new career path.
Veteran Services
provides homeless veterans employment
placement services.

Job Connection Centers
offer job seekers access to job leads and
provide the technology to prepare for a
successful job search. Job seekers can enroll in classes or receive one-on-one training to refine their skills, to develop an effective job search strategy and to secure employment.
