The Rivera Middle School Music program is made up of students in sixth through eighth grades in Merced, CA. Some of the classes offered include beginning band, advanced band, percussion, color guard, choir, and more.
The Rivera Middle School Music program is made up of students in sixth through eighth grades in Merced, CA. Some of the classes offered in the past include beginning band, advanced band, percussion, color guard, and choir. For the 2013-2014 school year we will be removing the choir class and instead add a "Talent Development" class. This class will explore all different kinds of talent including singing, dancing, shadow dancing, improv, and more.
Our music program is supported by the Rivera Music Boosters, a group made up mostly of parents of current music students. The boosters organize and support all our fundraisers, chaperon events, and make it possible to continue having music education in our schools.
