We are an established non-profit, 501(c)3 foundation, fully tax-deductible organization.
Riverside State Park Foundation Committees:
Fundraising - Our fundraising committee consists of members who would like to help organize events or write grants to raise funds for the parks.
Education - The education committee was formed to provide useful information about the park to the public.
History - Help our historians research the history of the Riverside State Park and how it all came to be. There are local settlers who would love to share their knowledge of this area!
Newsletter - The newsletter committee assists the newsletter editor in providing interesting articles for the newsletters. Why not try your hand at writing something yourself?
Membership - Promoting foundation membership opportunities to park visitors is one way to directly support the park. This committee is also responsible for maintaining a data base of all members for newsletter mailings.
Natural Resources - Maintaining the ecological balance of the park, while still promoting the use of its plentiful resources is quite a challenge. This very important committee is dedicated to preserving the park as we use it.
Trails - The trails committee is responsible for building and maintaining the trail system in the park by scheduling training clinics and work parties.
