To have an ever growing relationship UP with the Father, IN with the Body of Christ and OUT with the world

UP – YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
Jesus has a relationship UP with God, the Father. UP represents the growing relationship that we have with God. Jesus said, “I don’t do anything unless I see my heavenly Father doing it.” Everything Jesus said and did was based on his relationship UP with His Father. We are meant to have that same UP relationship with God the Father.

IN – YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS
Jesus had a relationship IN with his disciples. He said, “Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” They followed and stayed with Him. Jesus saw them as more than disciples; He saw them as friends. He walked with them, ate with them, reflected as a group and engaged in dialogue. Everyone who believes in Jesus is part of “His Body.” We are made to have a relationship IN with others in the Body of Christ.

OUT – YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD AROUND YOU
Jesus had a relationship OUT with the world. Jesus and his disciples went out to their wider community, letting their lives speak louder than words. We are made to be a part of God’s mission and are sent to serve and love people in Jesus’ name. We are made to have loving relationships OUT with the world around us.
