Riverview High School Foundation

Our mission is to provide funds for the enhancement of education at Riverview High School when there are no other funding sources available.

The Foundation qualifies as a public charity under federal tax law and gifts made during a donor’s lifetime may result in important tax advantages.

An important focus of the Foundation is support for Riverview’s new Smaller Learning Communities (SLC) initiative. SLC’s will provide highly personalized learning environments for smaller groups of students through career-oriented “academies” that stress high academic standards and closer interaction with faculty, staff, parents and business partners in the community. The Foundation is helping build a bridge to the local business community that can provide students and teachers with opportunities for real life application of the knowledge they gain in high school. By helping high school learning relevant to future education and vocational choices, SLC’s will benefit both students and our community.

The Riverview High School Foundation was founded in 1982 as a means to support students, faculty, and the campus. The Riverview High School Foundation sponsors and funds many projects and programs which have no other funding source. We are a 501(c)(3) public, non-profit foundation established to attract and administer permanent charitable endowment funds for the benefit of Riverview High School. Our mission is to provide funds for the enhancement of education at Riverview High School when there are no other funding sources available.
