RK9 is a foster based rescue in Yemassee SC. RK9 founded in 2002 to provide a positive atmosphere in which to alleviate the physical and emotional suffering of abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. Our main focus is to ensure the animal receives complete vet care, and is placed in a healing home environment until they are ready to live in their new lifetime home. Our commitment to those in need extends also to outreach education for established pet owners as well as prospective new pet owners. Education and awareness are foundations which will help ensure a lifetime of caring commitment for every companion. We do not stop at adoption. We strive to make sure that your pet is everything that you want in a pet even after adoption. If something should arise later on whether it be an illness or behavior issues please contact us and we will do everything in our means to help you out.
