Rock Island County has long been recognized as the "farm equipment capital of the world". In order to maintain a rich agricultural tradition and meet the challenges of today's society it must be prepared to accept those opportunities to grow in the future. The establishment of the Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation will allow individuals, businesses, and organizations to contribute to worth while projects.
*AgXPerience is our project that began in 2005 thanks to a grant by the Moline Foundation.
*Summer Ag Institute is another one of our trademark projects and offers teacher training to those interested in supplementing their classrooms with agricultural literacy materials.
