RMUoHP's Official Facebook Page. Our Mission is to educate current and future healthcare professionals for outcomes-oriented, evidence-based practice.
Utilizing both traditional and non-traditional academic models, RMUoHP offers doctoral degrees for current and future healthcare providers, administrators, and educators - including administrators, athletic trainers, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and chiropractors.
RMUoHP utilizes a non-traditional model for the Doctor of Science in Health Science (DSc) in Athletic Training, Health Promotion & Wellness, and Clinical Electrophysiology; the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), including a post-Master's and a post-Baccalaureate (FNP) path; the Doctor of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology; the Masters of Science in Health Science; the transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (tDPT) and the post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree programs. The non-traditional model enables students to complete advanced degrees without relocating. Curricula emphasize specialized education in advanced clinical, research, and academic areas.
The entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree program is offered through the traditional academic model. The Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program is set to begin in 2015.
