Trades & STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) exploration program for middle school girls. A program of Vermont Works for Women.
Rosie's Girls is a three-week summer day camp that helps build strong, confident girls through exploration of the skilled trades and STEM activities.
Girls entering 6, 7 and 8th grades get hands-on instruction in science and technology-related activities, carpentry, welding and auto repair, and participate in art, games, swimming and self-defense.
It's a safe, supportive, girl-centered environment emphasizing leadership, teamwork and healthy body image - with tons of fun woven in! A place where girls can get their hands dirty, take positive risks and try something new.
