R&R Respite Adult Day Center - (928) 684-3480

R&R Respite Care Center is a social adult day center. We provide seniors with transportation, meals, and therapeutic recreation activities in a safe and structured environment.

The individuals who participate in our program may attend on a planned basis during specified hours for one to five days a week. Some participants attend just two days a week, while others attend Monday through Friday. We offer a variety of social and recreational activities, verbal and mental stimulation to keep their minds active and their spirits up, as well as companionship to reduce loneliness and a sense of isolation. We assist clients to remain in the community, enabling families and other caregivers to continue the care at home.

R&R Respite offers caregivers the opportunity to carry out daily tasks with the knowledge that their loved one is in a welcoming and supportive environment. Being a caregiver is a monumental task. It is important that the caregivers have time off to care for themselves as well. We offer help with the physical part of caring for a loved one. If you have an outside job as well, you are secure in knowing they are in a safe environment throughout the day. Or at least you will have some respite from what can be a 24-hour job.

R&R Respite provides the following services:
Door-to-door, handicapped-accessible transportation to and from the Center covering Wickenburg and the surrounding communities of Congress and Morristown.
Transportation to and from medical appointments, grocery stores and other local errands and services.
Help with activities of daily living (such as mobility, incontinence care and assistance, showering, etc.)
A choice of activities designed to meet a range of interests, needs and abilities.
Health monitoring, observation and supervision by our staff.
Nutritious snacks and a hot lunch with attention to special diets.

The cost for attending our program is $7.00/hr. For eligible participants, the Center accepts funding from SAIL (Senior Adult Independent Living), ALTCHS, or private pay can be arranged. We also have a
scholarship fund available to help clients who need financial assistance. NO ONE IS TURNED AWAY.
