Rustic Rides Farm, located on Block Island, open year round, offers guided horse rides on the beach and through nature preserves.

Rustic Rides Farm, located on the South West Side of Block Island, is open year round, offering guided trail rides down to the beach and through nature preserves. Please call in advance to make a reservation.
Ride Options:
1 hour Old Mill Road Ride, $40.00 per person- Slow paced ride over Old Mill Road, a tour of the South West Side of Block Island.

1 hour Black Rock- $45.00 per person- Fast paced ride through Rodmans Hollow Nature Preserve, 500 acres of preserved land, to a cliff overlooking Black Rock beach.

1 hour Beach, $55.00 per person- Slow paced ride to Dories Cove Beach.

1 Hour Sunset Beach, $65.00 per person- Slow paced ride down to Dories Cove to watch the Sunset.

1.5 hour Black Rock, $60.00 per person- Fast or slow paced (your choice) ride over Old Mill Road and through Rodman's Hollow Nature Preserve, some trotting involved.

2 hour beach, $100.00 per person- Fast paced ride over to Graces Cove Beach, ride North to Charlestown beach.

2 hour Sunset Beach, $110.00 per person- Fast Paced Ride to Gracies Cove, ride up to Charlestown beach during the sunset.

**For the comfort of our horses and the saftey of riders our "Fast Paced" rides involve walking and trotting only.

Offseason Hours (October thru April)
10:00 AM, 12:00, 2:00, 4:00 PM, Sunset tours leave 40 minutes before sunset.


Rustic Rides Farm is a "ride at your own risk establishment". Participants are required to sign a release form prior to riding. For your saftey and the comfort of the horses, our largest horse can accomodate riders that weigh no more than 265 pounds. *Riders weighing between 245-265 pounds are only permitted to take the 1 hour slow paced beach ride.
