The vision of the Rutherford County Cattlemen's Association is to improve beef production while increasing youth involvement for future generations.
The RCCA was founded in 1975 to further the knowledge and education of beef producers. Effective cattle production plays a vital role in todays society due to increasing need for updated practices. Educating our youth remains our primary goal of the RCCA. The funds raised go toward, local 4-H clubs, educational youth trips, scholarships, and hosting informative herd management meetings to further knowledge and interest in cattle production.
Membership access includes:
* Cattle handling equipment at a reduce rate
* Association members willing to help work the herd when needed
* Educational programs
* Eligibility for various awards
* Eligibility to apply for youth scholarships
To become a member there is a $10 annual membership fee. Student memberships are free.
