Sandy Lake Carefree RV Resort, we have 217 RV Full Hookup sites and 54 mobile homes sites.

Come stay at one of the only RV parks in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area! We’re located just across the road from the old-fashioned Sandy Lake Amusement Park, just East of the George Bush Toll-way.

We offer short-term as well as long-term stays, with daily, weekly and monthly rates available.

Sandy Lake RV Resort provides the perfect retreat near all the excitement and attractions in Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Park your rig and spend your days exploring all the Metroplex has to offer - such as Six Flags, Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, Grapevine Mall and where the Dallas Cowboys play, AT&T stadium .

Situated in the city’s of Carrollton, our park has all sorts of amenities to make your stay comfortable - including two bathhouses, three laundry facilities, plus a small store selling snacks and limited RV supplies. A propane service is available to all of our sites, as well as access to Tengo internet. Families are also welcome, we have a saltwater pool, Kidz Zone and we have a playground for the children's enjoyment. Pet owners are more than welcome, and we provide a dog park for your convenience.

When in the mood for a little entertainment, our guests enjoy taking a dip in our salt water swimming pool or simply relaxing on our patio. Our grounds also feature a children's playground, a clubhouse with a game room, Big screen tv and exercise facilities to help keep our guests amused and in shape. We also plan plenty of activities to help our guests become friends - including Coffee & Donuts on Saturday mornings, Saturday movie nights, occasional Saturday breakfasts, religious services and more.
