Sanford Science and Discovery Center

We aim to raise community awareness and interest in a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) Museum here in Sanford through pop-up exhibits.

The project’s goals are to actively engage our region’s youth by providing unique hands-on educational experiences for children. By doing so we hope to enrich our community, redevelop our downtown, and improve the economy. We will exist to inspire people of all ages to enjoy, understand and become active citizens in the community, and world, in which they live. We envision this project adding to the quality of life for not only Sanford, but our region’s children, helping to revitalize Sanford’s downtown, and creating a destination for those outside of Sanford, which will greatly enhance our economy.
