Our mission is to promote the physical, mental and social wellness in youth through the sport of competitive rowing.
Sarasota Scullers is the oldest organized youth rowing club in Sarasota. Since 1991, the Sarasota Scullers have led the way in competitive team rowing and developing teens’ athletic and competitive skills, including achieving a #1 ranking in Florida at the 2010 State Championships. But even more important is the sense of personal achievement the coaching staff fosters by helping members learn valuable life skills of teamwork and individual goal setting.
The Sarasota Scullers Rowing Team provides teens, who reside in Manatee or Sarasota Counties, with the opportunity to learn a new sport, meet new friends and spend time outdoors having fun, staying fit and becoming part of one of the fastest growing team sports in Florida. A youth program for children ages 11-13 is also available through out the school year.
