The Qura Family (pronounced koora) has always had a passion for great food and friends. Emigrating from Ramallah in 1989, we brought with us the fresh and healthy culinary traditions for which the Mediterranean is famous. At the same time, our passion for great food quickly led us to embrace the many wonderful foods the Bay Area had to offer. The result is a uniquely delicious menu with American classics, Middle Eastern specialties and a few treasures that could only be created through the melding of the two – try the Gyro Breakfast Burrito to see what we mean.

We opened our first restaurant in 2001, Celebrity Cafe in San Mateo. Then in 2006, seeing a need for quick, fresh and delicious food in San Francisco’s Financial District we opened the first Sausalito Cafe on 1st and Mission. Today we have four retail locations and provide catering services for many corporate clients and private parties – check out our catering page to learn more.
