Secaucus Math Academy is a free of charge tutoring service that provides 1-hour group tutoring to students in 1st-8th grade during the summer.
My name is Anant Singh, a rising sophomore in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois. Secaucus has been my home for the past 13 years and has given me so much support and taught me many lessons, and now it's time to give back.
I volunteer my time to help students in a field I feel I can help them best; mathematics. The end goal is to send our students to school in the fall already prepared for what they are about to learn, thus improving their scores on standardized tests and examinations. I want to contribute to a rising mathematical aptitude in the town of Secaucus.
At the moment, I am currently trying to recruit others to volunteer their time to teach. If you are interested in helping in this cause, and are willing to give only 5 hours of your time per week, maximum, then please do contact me.
If you are a student in grades 1-8, then please do sign up for our tutoring that will start on July 7th and run until July 23rd or later, depending on the response of the students. Registration is rolling, so you can start coming whenever!
