The Seymour Grille is owned and operated by Bob & Patty Braniecki, lifelong restaurant operators. Bob & Patty met in 1985 working together in a restaurant (where else), and have been together ever since. Their restaurant careers have taken them through New York, Florida, Virginia, before settling in Tennessee. About 15 years ago, they had the opportunity to come to Seymour, and fell in love with the area and especially the people. After one more move to Nashville, they returned to Seymour about three years ago when their son, Bobby, enrolled in UT. There are no more plans to move again!
Bob & Patty have two daughters, Leah & Courtney, in Seymour High School. .Their restaurant careers have taken them to many types of restaurants, big & small, in all kinds of positions. From dishwasher, server, and cook to Assistant Manager, General Manager, District Manager, Market Leader, and beyond, their careers have led them to the best in Classic Country cooking. From fast food (Wendy's), to Mom & Pop stores (the General Store), to chains (Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel, Pizzeria Uno, Mimi's Cafe) and a few more, Bob & Patty know the restaurant business. And they have taken all that knowledge and brought it to the Seymour Grille for you to enjoy!
Now a little about the Grille
Do you remember the foods you had when you were little? The food your Grandma used to make?” Well, Seymour Grille has all those classic country favorites such as made from scratch Chicken & Dumplings, homemade Meatloaf, hand breaded Country Fried Chicken.
The Seymour Grille also has hard to find country favorites such as Fried Green Tomatoes, Fried Pickles, and hand breaded Chicken Livers. We also have many huge sandwich items such as the “Best Reuben in Town” (it is), Philly CheeseSteak, and the Seymour Special, a chopped sirloin topped with lettuce, tomato, and feta cheese. The Seymour Grille is also known for our fresh, never frozen, hand breaded to order Chicken Tenders! The best around! Don’t miss out on the hand-cut Potato Chips and Onion Rings. Portions are big, but prices are small!
Tuesdays are already famous for our All You Can Eat Chicken & Dumplings with hand-made dumplings made throughout the day! Be sure to save room for Dessert, but you don’t need to! Patty makes all the desserts here from scratch and serves them up in a unique mason jar, easy to take with you! Varieties change daily, but you can always count on having the best Banana Pudding around! Made with real eggs, milk, sugar, and love; no mixes here!
