We are a non-profit corporation in the State of Washington dedicated to the furtherance of education within our community. We are essentially focused on students and schools of the small communities of Steilacoom and DuPont, located in Pierce County, Washington, south of the major cities of Tacoma and Seattle. The Foundation is an IRS Section 501(c)(3) organization. For more information on the organization, see the By-Laws under the Administrative section of our web site.
SHEF provides scholarships for students graduating through Steilacoom High School.
SHEF provides grants to Steilacoom Schools to enhance teaching and learning in the district.
