Shelburne Falls Fire Department is a volunteer fire department located in the village of Shelburne Falls, MA. We provide quality fire/rescue, and EMS to the village and surrounding area since 1863. The department consists of two engines, a snorkel, a light duty rescue, and an ambulance. They are housed in a five bay station along with the water department. The staff includes one Chief, one Deptuy Chief, one Lieutenant, one Chaplin, eight Firefighters, four EMT/Firefighters, and two EMTs.
We are always looking for dedicated individuals 18+ with a valid drivers license. To apply, come into the station Monday through Friday 9 to 5 and ask the office personel about joining the department. For anyone who is under 18 please come into the station or call and talk with our fire chief about the junior firefighters progam we have. Teens with a C average in school and are in good moral standings are usually accepted into the program.
