Sherman's Neck Tie Co. is a small historical recreational business specializing in Civil War men's Cravats and other personal items.
Sherman's Neck Tie Co. is a small business founded by Civil War reenactors from Cleveland, Ohio that have a particular interest in civilian style Cravats, and other personable items that were frequented by civil war soldiers both on and off the field.
Our goal is to provide reenactors a very historically accurate, and inexpensive route to improving their impressions and better represent the men who so bravely fought for what they believed in, and made our country what it is today.
Starting out, we have seen few examples of which to base our homemade civilian cravats, handkerchiefs, braces, and (coming soon) housewives!
We use nothing but the best and most accurate quality materials and fabrics we can find. Most of our items are made from homespun fabrics to better represent something not often seen in the hobby.
Most of our cravats will be made to order until we can find sometime from our fulltime real lives to make big quantities!
For Cravats we have found $20 (CONUS shipping included) to be a fair price for each handsewn cravat, unless otherwise specified!
