Objectives: to create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world. To promote the principles of good government and good citizenship. To take and active interest in the civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare of the community.
We meet on the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month
We provide eye exams and eyeglasses to needy Shippensburg residents throughout the year. Provide scholarship money to worthy Shippensburg area high school students who will attend Shippensburg University. Sponsor needy children to the PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp each summer. Sponsor local Cub Scout Pack 251. Operate the concession stand at SASHS home football games and use the proceeds for maintenance and upkeep of Memorial Park. Collect used eye glasses and hearing aids for use in third world countries.
